Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services seeks a results-oriented Business Development Manager based in the Western US to drive revenue across facility validation, environmental monitoring, and calibration/metrology services. You will cultivate relationships, lead client meetings, and secure contracts within the Eurofins network.

The role requires 3+ years in related sales, a life sciences/engineering/business background, and the ability to travel ~40% of the time.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, or business administration.
A minimum of 3 years of directly relevant sales experience in facility validation/environmental monitoring and/or instrument calibration/metrology services.
Experience with biopharmaceutical and/or medical device manufacturing.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to travel at least 40% of the time.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Achieve/exceed annual revenue target for facility validation, environmental monitoring, and calibration/metrology service lines for Eurofins by leveraging existing relationships to penetrate accounts and prospect for new accounts.
Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy for facility validation and instrument qualification/calibration services for new construction projects and laboratory expansions.
Work independently and with field sales team to execute in-person client meetings, lead discussions with stakeholders, and secure contracts for work within assigned service lines.
Own and manage the sales activities of the business lines, maintain opportunity pipeline in CRM, follow up on proposals, and report outcomes.
Partner with BU leaders to understand each laboratory’s capabilities and place programs within the Eurofins network.
Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities to identify opportunities.
