Position Summary

Position: BDC Service Representative

Classification: Full Time

Reports To: Service Manager

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

• Handle incoming service phone calls and online appointments.
• Identify the customers’ needs and schedule service appointments.
• Make sure customers’ messages are relayed to their dedicated advisor.
• Knowledge and understanding of service writing experience and service drive operations.
• Receive inbound service phone calls.
• Place outbound phone calls to clients.
• Ensure all clients’ concerns are addressed prior to appointment date such as cost, warranty, and appointment duration.
• Contact clients prior to the appointment to confirm the date and time.
• Follow up post visit to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide accurate information regarding products and services.
• Process orders and payments in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track customer interactions.
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Able to establish and build relationships with customers.
• Responsible for maintaining minimum quota requirements as outline by management.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Other Duties May be assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Basic computer skills required to maintain CRM
• Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills
• Able to work individually as well as part of a team.

Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements

• Must meet dealerships requirements for employment which include background check and drug screening
• Previous dealership BDC/customer service experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Proficiency with computers and various software applications
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable based on driving record.
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
• Must be punctual and reliable.
