Job summary

Kelley Drye & Warren LLP is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support the Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice group. The role collaborates with group leaders, partners, and internal teams to drive client development and new business pursuits.

The ideal candidate is process-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work with lawyers recognized at the forefront of their fields to contribute to growth and success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of marketing or business development experience in a law firm or other professional services firm.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with CRM, reporting, and technology tools, including AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Business and Client Development: Support execution of the group’s business development initiatives and budget. Manage protocols to track, vet and pursue potential new business opportunities.
• Research and Knowledge Management: Manage research on new targets, industries, and competitors; pull reports on developments and use the firm’s CRM to manage client relationships.
• Project and Performance Management: Manage deadlines and pipeline in the CRM; participate in meetings and track follow-up items.
• Marketing Communications and Events: Coordinate events, sponsorships, and content strategy; assist with logistics for conferences and summit planning.
• Directory Submissions: Help attorneys with awards submissions and maintain nomination materials.
