Ideal background includes a JD, strong writing/analytical skills, and a record of handling complex restructurings and out-of-court workouts. Illinois bar admission is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of law firm experience in bankruptcy and restructurings.
• Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Represent secured lenders and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
• Handle DIP financing and cash collateral use.
• Develop plans of reorganization and manage asset dispositions.
• Conduct out-of-court workouts and restructurings.
• Oversee foreclosures and liability management transactions.
• Manage assignments for the benefit of creditors.
