Job summary

King & Spalding is a leading global law firm seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support marketing materials, pitches and RFPs, events, awards submissions, and market research within the global Marketing and BD team.

You will gather experience lists, coordinate submissions using LexTrack, assist newsletters, coordinate conference sponsorships, and support client targeting and business planning efforts across practice areas. This role emphasizes collaboration and discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Relevant legal business development/marketing experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain global marketing materials (fact sheets, brochures, presentations).
• Gather and centralize experience lists for pitches and RFPs.
• Assist with pitches and RFPs; manage files and deadlines.
• Coordinate submissions for directories and awards using LexTrack.
• Assist with newsletters content and coordination.
• Support events: invitations, content, and post-event follow-up.
• Support sponsorships and related activities.
• Research clients, competitors, and market trends; assist with reporting.
• Support client targeting and business planning with teams.
• Assist lateral onboarding processes.
