Job summary

Paradromics is building a brain-computer interface (BCI) platform that records brain activity at the highest possible resolution: the individual neuron. AI algorithms decode this data to enable treatments, starting with the Connexus BCI for people unable to speak due to ALS, spinal cord injuries, or stroke.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience relevant to this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop data curation strategies for user interaction and BCI data.
• Realize BCI decoding algorithms as performant software.
• Evaluate software with simulated and real neural data, as well as with our BCI hardware in the loop.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of new features and tools.
• Work closely with our engineering, neuroscience, and quality teams to identify and capture needs and requirements.
• Regularly travel between our Austin and Oakland offices.
