Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a VIP Travel Consultant to deliver high-touch service for executive travelers. This remote, full-time role requires handling inquiries via phone and email, offering travel consultations, and up-selling related products.

You'll expertly use BCD tools, confirm reservations, and ensure compliance with travel policies and regulations. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and some holidays is required.

Qualifications

• VIP travel experience required.
• Strong knowledge of travel industry policies and processes.
• Excellent command of GDS Sabre.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Flexible evenings, weekends, and some holidays (Elite 24 After-Hours).

Responsibilities

• Use BCD Travel tools to complete requests accurately.
• Search and confirm travel reservations for clients.
• Guide clients according to travel policies and provide consultations.
• Handle regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.).
• Stay updated on supplier rules and travel industry developments.

VIP Travel Agent (Remote)

Full time, United States

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6pm CST

In this role, you will perform high-touch service excellence to key client travelers and be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.).

You will be the primary point of contact for executive-level travelers and provide active travel consultation, including providing travel details and up-selling related products.

As a VIP Travel Agent, you will

• Expertly use the appropriate the BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
• Have a strong understanding of a client travel policy and can appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules
• Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported

About You

• Experience in VIP travel
• Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Strong skills in GDS Sabre
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Elite 24 After-Hours must be flexible. Evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Shift differential pending on shift assigned

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of VIP Travel Consultant is between $50,000 and $65,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
