Job summary

SASED seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead behavioral strategies for students within designated programs in Lisle, IL. The BCBA will supervise educational staff, develop behavior plans, and ensure documentation aligns with IDEA and district policies.

The role requires IL licensure (LBSI/S.E./PSW) and BCBA certification, with experience in behavior analysis and working with diverse student populations. On-site position with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• State licensure requirements (LBSI, School Psych or Social Worker as applicable).
• BCBA certification is required.
• Experience with learners with developmental disorders preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and work with diverse ages and needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-service training on behavior management and instructional strategies.
• Participate in staffings, meetings, and consultations with school personnel.
• Support staff with behavioral, adjustment, and socialization difficulties.
• Oversee RBTs and collaborate on FBA/BIP development.
• Develop and implement individual behavior and instructional plans.
• Monitor progress with data collection and analysis.
• Respond to crises with de-escalation and physical intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with parents to implement home-based programs.
