Job summary

SASED in Illinois seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead behavioral strategies for students across designated programs. You will oversee programming, provide ongoing supervision, and ensure documentation for Behavior Support Plans is accurate and compliant.

You will train staff on behavior management, collaborate on assessments and intervention plans, and work closely with families and the educational team to support students’ social, emotional, and educational growth.

Qualifications

• State-issued licensure and BCBA certification required.
• Completion of relevant internship or formal training in behavior analysis.
• Competence in behavior management, instructional skills, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-service training on behavior management and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate on Functional Behavior Assessments and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
• Oversee RBTs and supervise staff as needed.
• Develop and monitor individualized behavior and instructional plans.
• Maintain data records and report progress of interventions.
