Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Westminster, CO is seeking a Master’s student or recent ABA graduate to join our Apex Program as Lead Case Supervisor. This role is designed to accrue practicum hours toward BCBA certification while paying for those unrestricted hours.

It’s a full-time, hourly position with a BCBA exam incentive program. You will supervise RBTs, update client goals, participate in ESDM trainings, and help craft BIPs.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program for ABA.
• Be within ~400-600 hours of completing practicum hours to be eligible for the BCBA exam.
• Demonstrate excellent skills in building rapport with families as a behavior therapist.
• Demonstrate emerging skills in case conceptualization and client programming and planning.
• Demonstrate emerging skills in coaching and supervising RBTs to implement ESDM therapy.
• Desire to learn and grow and accept feedback.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a case supervisor for 3-5 client cases (20 paid unrestricted hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress
• Update client goals and programming, utilizing our electronic data collection platform
• Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs
• Participate in ESDM specific trainings, growing your clinical skillset
• Write Behavior Intervention Plans, utilizing the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill Based Treatment (SBT)
• Training and coaching to be provided
• Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support, utilizing Soar’s in-house curriculum
• Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re-assessments for established clients, including training on the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist
• Receive coaching and feedback from Partner Clinician and other BCBAs in your clinic
• Be a part of the Soar integrated care team, participating in interdisciplinary meetings for collaboration with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists
• Conduct direct client therapy (10-20 hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress
