Job summary

Granite School District invites a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support general education students with behavioral needs within the MTSS framework. The role collaborates with teachers, school psychologists, and families to implement effective behavior plans and classroom strategies.

The BCBA provides Tier 2/3 interventions, conducts functional assessments, and leads professional learning on ABA methods to improve student engagement and outcomes in a general education setting.

Qualifications

• Understanding of LRBI and discipline requirements.
• Skills in developing functional behavioral assessments and behavior intervention plans.
• Expertise in validated and effective behavior management practices.
• Ability to develop curricular adaptations and behavioral interventions for active engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior management support to general education staff, specialists, and families.
• Consult with district and school teams on individual behavioral issues and classroom management.
• Offer Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions for students with behavioral challenges.
• Model and train positive behavioral interventions and ABA strategies.
• Deliver professional learning on behavior strategies and implementation.
