Job summary

SESI is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work in educational settings nationwide. The role focuses on delivering individualized services, training school personnel, and collaborating with families to support student progress.

The BCBA will observe and assess behavior, develop and implement intervention plans, and prepare ABA reports. Opportunities exist for supervision of RBTs and BCBA trainees within a supportive educational team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior training and consultation to school personnel.
• Facilitate family engagement and provide training materials.
• Collaborate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
• Observe students, analyze data, and conduct assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK).
• Write ABA notes/recommendations and ABA reports from observations.
• Create and model behavior programs/strategies in schools.
• Develop visual schedules, token boards, and social stories for classrooms.
• Facilitate data collection to monitor progress.
• Develop behavior intervention plans with the educational team.
• Review data and provide follow-up consultation and modifications.
• Identify behavioral difficulties impacting attendance, adjustment, academics.
• Participate in team meetings and IEP conferences.
• Present on ABA and behavior modification techniques to staff.
• Opportunity for RBT/BCBA supervision.
