Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist for a full-time contract in the Frisco, TX area. The role supports students and collaborates with educators, with 37.5 hours per week. Starting pay is $30+ per hour, depending on background and experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Valid Texas teaching certification with Special Education endorsements.
Background in Special Education, social work, counseling, or a related field.
Strongly preferred experience as a school counselor, LPC, BCBA, or with a psychology/social work background.
Demonstrated experience developing and supporting Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Proficient in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor effective BIPs tailored to student needs.
Lead FBAs to identify behavioral challenges and guide interventions.
Participate in ARD, IEP, RtI, and 504 meetings, providing behavioral insights and recommendations.
Support classrooms in behavior management, acting as a resource for teachers and staff.
Offer crisis intervention and contribute to a positive school climate.
Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
