Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist to support student success near Plano, TX. This full-time, 37.5 hours/week contract role focuses on behavioral growth and collaboration with families and educators.

You will develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans, conduct FBAs, and participate in ARD/IEP/504 meetings while providing proactive classroom support and crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Texas teaching certification with SPED endorsements.
• Experience in special education, social work, counseling, or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans for individual students.
• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify supports and strategies.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Valid Texas teaching certification with SPED endorsements

• School counselor, LPC, BCBA, psychology, or social work background is ideal
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to conduct FBAs and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
