Job summary

Benchmark Human Services-GA invites a qualified BCBA to join a crisis support home in Tifton, GA. You will assess, design, and supervise behavioral supports for individuals with IDD in a residential setting.

Responsibilities include data collection, BSP development, staff training, and collaboration with the IDT and supervisor. A Master’s degree and BCBA license are preferred, with extensive crisis intervention training and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA license preferred.
• Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or related field required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals with IDD.
• Minimum of 35 hours of training in behavior analysis and behavior supports.
• Experience with behavior supports evaluation and services for people with IDD.
• Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.
• Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the professional team for the crisis support home.
• Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training in behavioral supports.
• Maintain objective data on the skills and needs of individuals served.
• Maintain program data including key data points and quality outcomes.
• Complete functional assessments and develop BSPs; consult after discharge.
• Communicate with IDT, team clinician, and supervisor.
• Modify BSPs as necessary and attend meetings as directed.
• Attend psychiatric appointments and discharge meetings as required.
• Train direct support staff on implementing BSPs and data collection.
• Ensure confidentiality and assist in discharge planning.
• Report suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation.

Education

Active BCBA license

Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or related field
