Job summary

Owen Health Care Inc. in Springfield, NJ, seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead behavioral treatment for youth. You will assess needs, develop targeted intervention plans, supervise staff, and monitor progress using data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate holds a BCBA, NJ licensure, and 2–3 years of supervisory experience, with strong ABA knowledge and documentation skills. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities within a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Social Work, Healthcare, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification.
  • Active New Jersey licensure as a Behavior Analyst, or eligibility to obtain required state licensure.
  • Minimum of two to three years of experience working with children with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.
  • Minimum of two to three years of management, clinical supervision, or team leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience completing comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Support Plans.
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and people-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical leadership, coworkers, clients, and families.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sound clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Interview clients, family members, caregivers, and treatment team members to gather relevant behavioral information.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments.
  • Identify and clearly define target behaviors.
  • Develop Behavior Support Plans based on assessment findings.
  • Design data collection systems to measure progress.
  • Analyze data and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Train staff and caregivers on implementing assessments and plans.
  • Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and feedback to staff.
  • Monitor treatment fidelity and ensure consistent implementation.
  • Maintain clinical documentation and update assessments quarterly.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, leadership, case managers, and treatment team.
  • Participate in case reviews, planning meetings, and quality improvement activities.
