Job summary

Shining Steps ABA in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead evidence-based ABA programs, assess progress, and mentor RBTs. You will collaborate with families and school teams to support holistic care and ensure ethical, compliant practice.

A Master’s degree and active BCBA certification are required, along with strong communication and leadership. The role offers flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and clear opportunities for leadership.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation and uphold professional standards.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and functional behavior assessments.
• Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), providing hands‑on training and support.
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and school teams to ensure holistic care.
• Ensure all programming and documentation meet ethical, clinical, and compliance standards.
• Monitor client progress and lead clinical team meetings.
