Job summary

Shining Steps ABA LLC in Lenexa, Kansas seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead individualized ABA programs, collaborate with families and school teams, and uphold ethical standards.

You will supervise RBTs, conduct VB-MAPP/ABLLS-R assessments, and drive treatment plans from assessment to progress meetings, with strong emphasis on compassionate, evidence-based care and professional development.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation and uphold professional standards.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized ABA treatment plans
• Conduct assessments including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and functional behavior assessments
• Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), providing hands-on training and support
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and school teams to ensure holistic care
• Ensure all programming and documentation meet ethical, clinical, and compliance standards
• Monitor client progress and lead clinical team meetings
