Optimum Behavioral Health in San Diego, CA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time position. The role includes supervising RBTs and staff, developing ABA programs, and collaborating with families and professionals to promote skill acquisition and generalization.

The BCBA will conduct assessments, design treatment plans, monitor progress, and ensure documentation meets regulatory and ethical standards. A strong background in ABA and data-driven practice is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
• Current BCBA certification.
• 1 year experience providing ABA services and developing individualized behavior programs.
• Strong understanding of behavioral principles, assessment procedures, data analysis, and evidence-based ABA practices.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessments (FBAs) as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Design and implement evidence-based ABA programs.
• Establish measurable treatment goals and monitor progress.
• Review and analyze clinical data to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Provide supervision of RBTs and direct-care staff.
• Offer supervision to staff pursuing BCBA/BCaBA certification.
• Conduct caregiver and family training to promote skill generalization.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, therapists, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports.
• Communicate progress and recommendations with families and stakeholders.
• Ensure services align with ethics, laws, and policies.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Foster respectful, culturally responsive environment.
• Perform other clinical duties as assigned.
