Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Experience writing behavior plans for students with behavior difficulties including autism.
• At least 3 years of ABA training/experience; training staff/parents in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop materials and provide resources for administrators, educators, instructional staff, and parents in ABA.
• Plan and oversee ABA-based instruction for students with autism and other disabilities.
• Conduct functional analyses and behavior assessments when needed.
• Develop and maintain behavioral data and monthly progress reports for students with disabilities.
• Monitor the effectiveness of behavior support plans and programming.
• Provide staff training and assist in IEP development and related processes.
• Travel between sites to provide direct treatment and collaboration for students and families.
• Supervise BCBA candidates, IA/ABA staff and RBTs within the district.
