Job summary

Northbridge Public Schools is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for New Northbridge Elementary School in Whitinsville, MA. You will provide behavior analysis services, develop plans, mentor staff, and support families within a K-5 setting.

The role focuses on assessments, data-driven interventions, IEP collaboration, and professional development for site staff, with travel between campuses as needed. Salary is competitive and DOE.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, SPED, Psychology or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
• Experience writing behavior plans for students with autism and other disabilities.
• Minimum 3 years’ ABA training and experience; experience training staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Develop materials and provide resources for administrators, educators, and parents in ABA and evidence-based methods.
• Plan and oversee ABA-based programs and practices for students with autism and other disabilities.
• Conduct behavior assessments including functional analyses when needed.
• Maintain behavioral data and create monthly progress reports.
• Monitor effectiveness of behavior support plans and programming.
• Assist in case monitoring and reporting on student progress through data analysis.
• Provide initial and ongoing training to staff for data collection and plans.
• Assist in development and implementation of IEPs.
• Support teachers and staff as a reliable resource on behavior support.
• Travel between sites and conduct home visits for direct treatment and collaboration.
• Supervise BCBA candidates, IA/ABA staff and RBTs as appropriate.
• Participate in required professional development and staff meetings.
