Job summary

Headway ABA is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in North Carolina for a part-time or full-time, on-site/hybrid role. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, oversee therapy implementation, and train staff while collaborating with families to improve outcomes.

The role emphasizes assent-based, play-based approaches, supervision of RBTs, and ongoing progress analysis with documentation for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Active state licensure/certification to practice behavior analysis.
• Assent-based, play-based, and child-led approach to ABA.
• Experience conducting FBAs and Skills Assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based ABA principles and ethical guidelines.
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans.
• Ability to supervise and mentor RBTs/behavior technicians.
• Experience training caregivers and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong clinical decision-making, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage documentation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee ABA therapy implementation and progress monitoring.
• Supervise and mentor RBTs and technicians.
• Provide staff training and caregiver education.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
