Job summary

Soliant is seeking an Educational Behavior Specialist for a contract role near Morro Bay, California, to support students with behavioral needs using evidence-based practices. The ideal candidate is BCBA-certified or a credentialed School Psychologist and will collaborate with educators to foster positive student experiences.

You will conduct FBAs, develop and monitor BIPs, train staff in ABA and non-violent interventions, and collect data to guide program changes.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification or School Psychologist credential.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
• Proficiency in non-violent behavioral intervention strategies.
• Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
• Develop, implement, and monitor BIPs tailored to individual student needs.
• Provide consultation and training on ABA methodologies and non-violent behavioral interventions to school staff.
• Collaborate with educators, support teams, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
• Collect and interpret behavioral data to guide ongoing program adjustments.
• Contribute to a safe, nurturing school atmosphere by promoting positive behavioral supports.
