Job summary

Arc Carroll County is seeking a Behavioral Consultant for an in-office role in Westminster, MD. The position oversees development, delivery, and compliance of Behavioral Support Services under DDA and Medicaid Waiver requirements, ensuring trauma-informed, person-centered approaches and data-driven practices.

The role includes conducting FBAs, creating and monitoring behavior support plans, staff training, documentation, and program quality oversight, with focus on least restrictive

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related field.
• Board-C Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Eligible to practice in Maryland as a Behavioral Analyst.
• Experience in functional analyses and tiered behavior support plans.
• Strong communication and data analysis skills.
• Data-driven decision-making.
• Experience training staff and caregivers.
• Willingness to travel within the county and manage multiple cases.
• Knowledge of DDA and COMAR regulations.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 2+ years driving experience.
• CPR/First Aid training and other required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and ABC data analysis with multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans.
• Provide staff training on behavior support strategies and data collection.
• Ensure compliance with DDA, OHCQ, Medicaid, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain timely documentation of plans, progress notes, data tracking, and supervision.
• Analyze trends and make programmatic recommendations.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and CCS for person-centered outcomes.
• Develop systems for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
