Job summary
Gersh Autism seeks an energetic BCBA to coordinate, schedule, communicate and continually evaluate functional assessments, behavioral evaluations, behavior plans and IEPs for clients on their caseload.
Located in West Hempstead, NY, the role is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM (with one weekly 4 PM team meeting). Full-time benefits include health, retirement, life insurance and family leave.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in ABA or related field.
- BCBA certification in good standing with BCBA Board.
- Licensed Behavior Analyst in NY state.
- Minimum 2 years' ABA experience with autism.
- Experience conducting skill and behavioral assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA).
- Skill acquisition and behavior reduction program development.
- Experience supervising BCBAs and/or RBTs preferred.
- CPR/First Aid/BLS and related trainings.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, schedule and evaluate functional assessments and behavior plans.
- Design and monitor IEP-related ABA interventions for caseload.
- Provide staff and parent training and education sessions.
- Supervise BCBA candidates, RBTs and other staff.
- Collaborate with families and professionals to ensure progress.
