L.E.A.S.E. is seeking a qualified professional to support students with behavioral needs in an educational setting in Ottawa, IL.

The role focuses on conducting Functional Behavior Assessments to guide humane, individualized Behavior Intervention Plans and on assisting with plan implementation. The position involves collecting and summarizing behavior data to monitor progress, modeling evidence-based practices for staff, and delivering PD on behavior management.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Special Education, social work, or school psychology required.
  • BCBA certification, or in process of obtaining.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with staff.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks for self and others.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for districts seeking assistance with behavioral needs of students.
  • Actively participate on various educational teams to support proactive and responsive behavioral interventions to support students with challenging behaviors.
