Job summary

M Crowd Restaurant Group is hiring a part-time meat cutter to prepare and cut various meats to restaurant standards. You will follow daily prep lists, maintain quality, and support a fast-paced kitchen environment in multiple brand concepts such as Mi Cocina, The Mercury, and Vaqueros Texas BBQ.

The role requires reliability, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a Food Handler Certification. A team-oriented, safety-minded approach is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have reliable transportation.
• Stand for up to 8 hours in a standing position.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clear communication and ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Must have Alcohol Server and Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and ensure courteous service throughout the shift.
• Prepare and follow the daily prep list.
• Ensure quality and consistency of all meat products.
• Follow portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen rules.
• Stock stations and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Support food prep tasks as needed and assist teammates.
• Close the kitchen with a proper checklist and safety standards.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene per health regulations.
• Operate and disinfect cutting tools and equipment.
• Communicate with staff to fulfill orders and maintain workflow.
