Job summary

Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business seeks an Associate Director of BBA Admissions to lead recruitment and manage a high-touch prospective student program. You will partner with campus and external stakeholders to drive enrollment, evaluate applications, and run on-campus events that showcase the BBA program’s strengths.

The role requires strategic outreach, strong communication, and travel, with frequent evenings and weekends to support recruitment activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Higher Education preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience; at least 3 in admission/student services.
• Experience reviewing student applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic recruitment for BBA and Business Direct scholarships.
• Evaluate applications for first-year and external transfer students.
• Plan and execute on-campus recruitment events; manage partnerships.
• Oversee Cox communications continuum and prospective student messaging.
• Track recruitment effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Work evenings/weekends and travel frequently.
