Job summary

Mill Creek Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Baylor Weekend Program. Earn competitive weekend pay while working Saturdays and Sundays with options for day or overnight shifts.

The program pays for 40 hours though only 32 are worked each weekend, supporting work-life balance for dedicated RNs. Join a close-knit skilled nursing team in North Carolina, where patient-centered care, professional growth, and a supportive workplace are emphasized.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted North Carolina RN license.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for residents.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and respond promptly to changes.
  • Record vital signs and care provided accurately and timely.
  • Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment.
  • Initiate appropriate nursing interventions and perform skilled procedures as needed.
  • Educate residents and families regarding treatments and care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in discharge planning and care coordination.

Mill Creek Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Baylor Weekend Program. If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity with excellent pay, a supportive team, and a resident-centered environment, we'd love to meet you!

Baylor Weekend Schedule

Choose the weekend schedule that works best for you:

  • Every Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM

  • OR Every Saturday & Sunday | 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Work 32 hours each weekend and get paid for 40 hours through our Baylor Program!

What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

  • Monitor residents' conditions and respond promptly to changes

  • Record vital signs, assessments, and all care provided accurately and timely

  • Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment

  • Initiate appropriate nursing interventions when needed

  • Perform skilled nursing procedures, including IV therapy, catheter insertion, and wound care

  • Educate residents and families regarding treatments and care plans

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals

  • Participate in discharge planning and care coordination

  • Ensure compliance with all nursing standards, policies, and regulations
