Job summary

DeVry University invites industry professionals to teach and share their knowledge with undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of fields. Courses meet once or twice a week for eight weeks; face-to-face interaction is blended with technology such as online discussions and online assignments to enhance learning.

Faculty develop syllabi and lesson plans, apply teaching techniques, and participate in faculty training and development.

Qualifications

Must have a doctorate in marketing or a related field with 15 graduate credit hours in marketing.
Applicants must upload unofficial graduate-level transcripts with their application.
Degrees must be from an accredited institution as recognized by USDE/ CHEA or equivalent.
Faculty must have outstanding communication skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

Develops and provides students with an approved DeVry University syllabus following campus templates.
Organizes, prepares, and updates all course materials regularly.
Uses online technologies and course-related software to prepare and deliver courses.
Models effective oral and written communications to engage students.
Publishes course objectives, assignment dates, and grading schemes.
Ensures exams align with course objectives and provides timely feedback.
Embraces responsible AI use in teaching to enhance learning outcomes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
