Job summary

BBYO is seeking a Chapter Specialist in the Bay Area to work closely with teens (grades 8-12) and chapters across the region. This role focuses on developing leadership, crafting engaging programs, and strengthening chapter calendars and attendance data while collaborating with staff and advisors.

You will gain hands-on leadership experience, mentor teens, and participate in monthly cohort meetings, with evenings and weekends required. The position is 8-12 hours weekly and paid hourly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 3 years removed from high school.
• In-person role; candidate must live within or near San Jose.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Minimum 5 hours per week with evenings/weekends availability.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with teens in grades 8-12 to design engaging, fun programs.
• Coach teens on running their own BBYO chapters.
• Attend chapter events and meetings to support activities.
• Help teens build out chapter calendars and retain members.
• Create high-quality programs with teens and oversee attendance data.
