The role targets a current PhD student in engineering who can work full-time on-site, leveraging FEM tools (COMSOL), MATLAB and Python for modeling, data processing, and ML-driven optimization.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student pursuing a PhD in engineering.
• Availability to work full-time and on-site in Irvine, CA.
• Proficiency with FEM tools, such as COMSOL.
• Experience with scientific programming using MATLAB and/or Python.
• Ability to process, cleanse and validate data for analysis and experiments.
• Familiarity with statistics, machine learning, optimization.

Responsibilities

• Construct FEM and circuit models in collaboration with other device modeling and circuit design engineers.
• Analyze on-wafer device statistics of key device parameters.
• Propose new ways to design state-of-the-art BAW devices based on physics-based and data-driven models.
