Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member II in Utah to maintain a well‑stocked, organized warehouse and support Route Service Managers. You will regularly deliver batteries and ensure accurate inventory and reports.

The role requires forklift operation, safe handling of batteries, and ability to assist as needed for delivery and warehouse duties. Health and safety guidelines are integral to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, and distribution methods.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and interstate commerce regulations.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
• Understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate a forklift and motor vehicle.
• Run the Hot Shots on a timely basis as needed.
• Fill in for NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM, as needed.
• Collect and handle payments on account, which may include cash, checks and money orders.
• Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse.
