Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member II in the United States. You will help maintain a well-stocked, organized warehouse, load/unload batteries, restock, and support Route Service Managers. You may operate a forklift, handle shipments, and assist with payments and battery returns as needed.

A clean driving record and basic computer skills are required. Responsibilities include maintaining safety and cleanliness, timely battery rotations, testing and dating items, and backing

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, and distribution methods.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and interstate commerce regulations.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
• Understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and/or forklift.
• Must have a clean drivers record AND meet driver qualifications requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate a forklift and motor vehicle.
• Run the Hot Shots on a timely basis as needed.
• Fill in for NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM, as needed.
• Collect payments on accounts.
• Return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse.
• Follow driver program requirements, as specified by the manager.
• Other duties as requested.
