Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member II to help maintain a well-stocked, organized warehouse and support Route Service Managers. Responsibilities include loading and unloading batteries, restocking products, maintaining safety, and assisting with battery testing and adjustments.

The role requires basic computer literacy, reliable time management, and a willingness to drive or operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, and distribution methods.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and interstate commerce regulations.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and/or forklift.
• Clean driving record and driver qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate a forklift and motor vehicle.
• Run the Hot Shots on a timely basis as needed.
• Fill in for NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM, as needed.
• Collect and handle payments on account.
• Return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse.
• Follow driver program requirements as specified by the manager.
