Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Warehouse Team Member II to support a busy warehouse and assist Route Service Managers. Responsibilities include loading/unloading batteries, restocking, and maintaining a safe, organized facility.

You may fill in for NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM as needed and handle payments on accounts. The role requires forklift or vehicle operation, attention to safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to operate a forklift and vehicle as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate a forklift and motor vehicle.
• Run the Hot Shots on a timely basis as needed.
• Fill in for NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM, as needed.
• Collect and handle payments on account (cash, checks, money orders).
• Collect and return junk/used batteries to the warehouse.
• Follow driver program requirements as specified by the manager.
