Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member II to maintain a well-stocked, organized facility and assist Route Service Managers. You will load/unload batteries, stock inventory, and deliver batteries regularly, contributing to a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, routing, and distribution methods.
• Understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and/or forklift; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload batteries and restock inventory.
• Charge, test, date, and rewrap rotations; maintain rotations.
• Keep a safe and clean warehouse; perform reporting tasks.
• Operate a forklift and motor vehicle per safety rules.
• Run hot shots as needed; assist NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM.
• Collect and handle payments on account; process cash/checks.
• Return junk/used batteries to warehouse; follow driver program rules.
