Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Wisconsin is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately execute distribution center tasks using RF barcode devices, WMS applications, forklifts, and pallet jacks. You will process receiving, transfers, picks, packs, and shipments while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading batteries, restocking, rotating and dating batteries, tagging pallets, and supporting warehouse reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate and detail-oriented with sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship)
• Load and unload batteries
• Restock batteries
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims
• Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification
• Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship)
• General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas)
• Ability to multi-task and/or quickly transition from one function/task to the next function/task
• Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management
