Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Battery Operator in Bethlehem, PA. You will perform safe, daily operation, monitoring and maintenance of the battery system and change batteries in warehouse MHE.

Responsibilities include maintaining charged batteries, basic maintenance, and keeping the area clean to ensure all assets are operable. Shift is 2nd: Mon, Tue, and Fri 1:30 pm–3:00 am; pay is 17.35–25.98 USD hourly with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in battery or warehouse operations.
• Ability to change batteries in MHE safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and PM on battery assets.

Responsibilities

• Change Batteries in MHE: change batteries in MHE ensuring discharged to proper voltage and rotate fleet for full utilization.
• Maintain Supply of Charged Batteries: ensure batteries are charged and properly cycled across chargers.
• Perform basic maintenance and PM to Battery System Assets: water, connectors, tips, covers, cleaning, etc.
• Maintain a clean work area: keep battery area tidy and organized, proper storage of tools and supplies.
• Ensure all assets are in operable condition: identify servicing needs and notify management, track progress.
