Job summary

Mobis North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Manager for Battery System Assembly in Ellabell, GA. You will lead quality across internal operations and supplier networks, drive audits, and mentor the QA team to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and global suppliers to sustain continuous improvement and robust quality outcomes throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering.
• 2+ years as Quality Manager or 5+ years as Manufacturing Quality Engineer.
• Experience implementing and auditing QM systems and supplier/customer interfaces.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the company's QMS and ensure IATF 16949 compliance.
• Lead audits of CKD/LP/GS component suppliers and drive improvement councils.
• Lead root cause elimination for chronic defects in BMA/BSA processes; assess improvement effectiveness.
• Coordinate supplier qualification activities, including on-site audits and performance reviews.
• Oversee reliability tests for high voltage batteries and PV validation for new projects.
• Review product design for compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Deliver quality reports and insights to leadership; track corrective action effectiveness.
