Job summary

Blue Current in Hayward, CA seeks a Senior Manager, Process Quality to own design, implementation and operation of quality systems from incoming materials to finished batteries. You will build a top-tier quality program and partner with R&D, Cell Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing to drive process improvements for world-class products.

You will lead a small team, define CTQ metrics, manage metrology and data integrity, and oversee corrective actions including FMEAs and SPC.

Qualifications

• PhD with 3+ years experience OR MS with 6 years OR BS with 8 years OR 13 years related industry experience.
• Experience interfacing between teams to deliver quality programs.
• Experience developing quality programs from R&D through scale-up and commercialization.
• Experience leading teams in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a team capable of meeting the business needs of this role.
• Define KPIs for the quality team aligned with company goals.
• Build and manage systems to test, trace, and troubleshoot quality from incoming to outgoing battery products.
• Partner with R&D, Cell Engineering, and Advanced Manufacturing to define quality metrics and tracking systems.
• Determine CTQ metrics and deploy statistical process control.
