Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Milwaukee seeks a systems requirements engineer to translate customer requests into rigorous system requirements and drive traceability across hardware, software, and validation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage projects in requirements tools, and ensure conformance to ISO and safety standards, enabling successful system integration and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Experience translating customer needs into system requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams.
• Familiarity with traceability and change-control processes.

Responsibilities

• Define system requirements based on customer requests.
• Work with the technical team to resolve requirement/design queries.
• Collaborate with subteams to understand feasibility of requirements.
• Setup and manage new projects and requirements in JAMA/DOORS NG
• Ensure bi-directional traceability from customer/system requirements to software implementation and validation test cases.
• Conduct requirement peer reviews between software, hardware and validation engineers.
• Analyze, prioritize and define verification criteria for requirements.
• Baseline requirement releases and ensure change control process
• Support System architecture design and development.
• System and software Architecture activities using EA/Rhapsody/Cameo tools
• Analysis and judgement of requirements under norms including FUSA and product safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 26262, DFMEA/PFMEA).
• Maintain documentation for requirements, design changes, and quality control.
