Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Milwaukee seeks a System Requirements Engineer to define and manage system requirements, ensuring traceability from customer needs to software validation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes bi-directional traceability, requirement reviews, system architecture support, and compliance with ISO 26262. Use of EA/Rhapsody/Cameo is expected.

Qualifications

• BE/ BTECH/M.E/M.Tech required.
• Bachelor’s Engineering Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Define system requirements based on customer requests.
• Work with the technical team to resolve requirement/design queries.
• Collaborate with subteams to understand the feasibility of requirements.
• Setup and manage new projects and requirements in JAMA/DOORS NG.
• Ensure full bi-directional traceability (up to customer / system requirements and down to software implementation and validation test cases).
• Conduct requirement peer reviews between software, hardware and validation engineers for feasibility, understanding and impact.
• Analyze, prioritize and define verification criteria for requirements.
• Baseline requirement releases and ensure change control process.
• Support System architecture design and development.
• System and software Architecture activities using EA/Rhapsody/Cameo tools
• Analysis and judgement of requirements under consideration of related norms and standards including FUSA and product safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 26262, DFMEA/PFMEA).
• Maintain documentation for requirements, design changes, and quality control.
