Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline.
• At least two years of power trading experience.
• Understanding of energy and ancillary market dispatch.
• Ability to maximize revenue subject to risk constraints.
• Willingness to travel and handle work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Participate in around-the-clock physical dispatch of battery storage resources.
• Trade in day-ahead and real-time energy and ancillary services.
• Collaborate with Research teams to refine optimization software.
• Identify transmission constraints and adjust optimization strategy.
• Monitor risk metrics and communicate performance to stakeholders.
• Execute trades manually when appropriate.
• Develop hedging approaches to maximize long-term storage revenue.
• Build relationships with counterparties and intermediaries.
