Job summary

Aypa Power in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Battery Storage Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day on-site operations of battery storage facilities and lead a team to ensure uptime, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will develop operational strategies, coordinate maintenance, analyze performance data, and collaborate with asset management and engineering teams.

Travel up to 25% may be required. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in battery storage operations, strong knowledge of EMS/SCADA,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of battery storage ops experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of battery storage systems, inverters, and associated power generation equipment.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site day-to-day battery storage operations and contractor coordination.
• Develop strategies to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Collaborate with asset management, engineering, and projects to optimize design and integration with renewables.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, environmental, and contractual requirements.
• Lead and train operations staff to a high level of competency and adherence to procedures.
• Monitor performance data to identify improvements and cost savings.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on operational metrics.
• Perform other duties as required.
