Job summary

One Tech Engineering is seeking a Construction Manager for a Battery Energy Storage Systems project in Del Rio, Texas. The role oversees construction activities, safety compliance, and coordination with the Owner's Project Manager and EPC contractor.

Required are 5+ years in electrical construction, familiarity with safety standards, and strong communication skills. The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card and be prepared for on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience, preferably with battery storage.
• Knowledge of electrical construction standards and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with ProjectWise and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall monitoring manager of the site.
• Direct and coordinate activities of assigned Field Observers.
• Coordinate with Owner's Project Manager to oversee Owner's other contractors.
• Attend pre-construction, weekly, and monthly progress meetings.
• Ensure work complies with plans, codes, and regulations.
• Ensure safety check points are observed and documented.
• Review daily logs, reports, and inspections.
• Coordinate final inspections, testing, commissioning, and punch list.
• Identify risk areas and potential disputes or claims.
• Maintain job books and monitor storage and security of materials.
