Job summary

Raymond Storage Concepts is seeking a Battery Service Technician in Louisville, KY to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial batteries, chargers, and related equipment at customer locations. You will install new systems, perform preventive maintenance, and provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a high school diploma, and 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in mechanical, electrical, automotive, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to learn new skills and participate in ongoing training.
• Ability to work in various environments including warehouses, industrial facilities, and outdoors.
• Occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to obtain DOT certification through company-arranged pre-employment examination.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships: provide exceptional customer service while representing RSC professionally.
• Manage your service vehicle: keep the provided vehicle, tools, parts, and equipment organized.
• Stay safe: follow established safety procedures in diverse environments.
• Keep accurate records: document service activities using company systems.
• Work as a team: collaborate with dispatchers, managers, and fellow technicians.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Battery Service Technician, you'll be the go-to expert for keeping our customers’ industrial battery systems operating at their best.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and repair industrial batteries, chargers, and related equipment at customer locations.
• Install Equipment: Deliver, install, and set up new batteries, chargers, and related systems.
