Interstate Batteries is hiring a Sales Associate in Santa Clarita to provide fast, friendly service, assist customers, and support store operations. You will engage customers, explain product benefits, and drive sales while maintaining the sales floor and completing deliveries as needed.

The role requires strong communication, basic math, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or delivery experience is helpful but not required.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to work at least two Saturdays per month.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and driver qualifications required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills and cash handling ability.
• Pre-employment criminal background check required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional, friendly customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Understand customer needs with open-ended questions and offer guidance.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to assist and advise customers.
• Promote offers and current sales to enhance experience.
• Explain product features clearly and help users choose options.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle payments.
• Assist with inventory tasks including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
• Perform basic battery testing and installation, including automotive batteries.
• Complete local deliveries using a company vehicle as needed.
