Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Conroe, TX is seeking a Sales Associate to provide fast, friendly service, assess customer needs, and maintain a clean, shoppable sales floor. You will handle transactions at the POS, assist with inventory, deliver and install car batteries, and promote offers.

Prior retail or delivery experience is helpful but not required. Be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet sales goals while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Clean driving record and meet driver qualifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills and comfortable handling cash transactions.
• Pre-employment criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic battery testing and installation, including automotive batteries.
• Complete local deliveries using a company vehicle, as needed.
• Follow / fulfill all driver program requirements, as specified by the manager.
