Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Superior, WI is seeking a Hot Shot Driver to deliver batteries to dealers on assigned routes, assist with warehouse duties, and support Route Managers. Responsibilities include loading and unloading, maintaining safety and accuracy in reports, interacting with customers and team members, and ensuring batteries are charged, cleaned, and dated.

This full-time on-site role requires a clean driving record and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools (tablets, scanners).
• Must have a clean driver's record and meet driver qualifications.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Run the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis.
• Load and unload batteries.
• General warehousing duties and assisting customers.
• Deliver batteries to customers on time and safely.
• Follow environmental health and safety rules and policies.
• Ensure batteries are charged, cleaned and dated, and stock is rewrapped after rotation.
• Accurately complete reports and claims.
• Interact professionally with team members, managers and customers.
